In the nineties Michael held a number of management functions at Esprit Telecom, the first international competitor of the European telecom monopolies. He was responsible for setting up the company's divisions in Benelux and Germany. After the successful sale of Esprit to Global Telesystems, he set up Mycall.com which very quickly grew into the largest provider of internet applications for the business traveler in hotels in Europe. Mycall was sold to iBAHN in 2004, where Michael successfully ran the European sales department until 2006. Since then Michael has been providing advice and guidance for a number of companies such as Ticketscript, LivingSocial and the Jung Platform
